ABBA XALET SUITES HOTEL

The lobby or hall is the first impression that we get of any place that we visit and this first impression conditions everything else. For this reason, the Abba Xalet Suites Hotel had no hesitation in commissioning us to change the zone of this initial encounter with the hotel.

Starting from the natural stone façade of the hotel, we chose a design inspired by the classic wooden huts and we combined these two elements to transform it into a modern space. We chose wood as the main element as it transmits that warm and welcoming feeling that we find so appealing, and we combined it with dark tones to create a sophisticated contrast that brings elegance to the space.

Leather is another major element in the design, and we used it in the armchairs and the sofas to reinforce the elegance of the design. We added red for the small details to help them stand out; this colour brings warmth, and it makes a space feel cosy. We used local materials whenever possible, with wood as the protagonist.

In the restaurant area, we used wood as the sole element on the walls and the ceiling. This material offers a sensation of spaciousness thanks to the way it combines with the lighting. What we get is a simple result but one that does not break the general aesthetics of the hotel.
